ESET Protect Mail Plus is the proposal of ESET solutions bundle that is build to protect the email infrastructure of any organization. It contains three main components that include ESET Mail Security, Dynamic threat Defense and the unified on-prem or cloud-based management console, ESET Protect.
ESET Mail Security provides an additional layer of protection to stop threats from ever reaching users in the network. Designed to protect email communication, the most vulnerable vector that covers MS Exchange, Linux and IBM mail servers. It is build as a true 64-bit product allowing for clustering to ensure that speed is never a concern for organizations of any size. ESET’s solution use in-house developed anti-spam, anti-phishing and host server protection technologies, combining machine learning, big data and human expertise into one award-winning mail security platform.
ESET Dynamic Threat Defense is the cloud security sandbox solution that provides a powerful, isolated test environment in which a suspicious program is executed, and its behavior is observed, analyzed and reported in an automated manner. This is especially useful against zero-day threats, including ransomware. ESET utilizes three different machine learning models once a file is submitted. After that, it runs the sample through a full sandbox, simulating user behavior to trick anti-evasive techniques. Next, a deep learning neural network is used to compare the behavior seen versus historical behavioral data. Finally, the latest version of ESET’s scanning engine is used to take everything apart and analyze it for anything unusual. Every analyzed sample status and results is visible from the unified management console.
The final component that is included is the on-prem or cloud-based management console, ESET Protect, a multifunctional remote network security management tool for all ESET Business products across all operating systems. It enables one-click security deployment and gives you network visibility without the need to buy or maintain additional hardware, reducing therefore the total cost of ownership.
