The Evolution of Access to Applications With Fortinet ZTNA
How can you securely support a remote workforce and maintain business continuity in an ever-changing business environment?
This course focuses on harnessing Fortinet solutions, renowned for their ease of deployment and configurability, to effectively tackle the security challenges associated with hybrid work environments.
During the workshop, participants explore Fortinet’s integrated approach to enhancing secure remote access. FortiGate NGFWs support secure connections for remote workers via ZTNA and IPsec VPNs. FortiClient ensures endpoint protection, while FortiAuthenticator strengthens security measures with SAML. Additionally, participants gain insights into FortiPAM solutions, enriching their understanding of advanced security frameworks essential for modern remote work environments.
Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to:
- Configure FortiClient EMS to extend protection to remote users
- Scan endpoints for vulnerabilities and patch them using FortiClient
- Set up dial-up VPN connections and demonstrate secure access to internal resources
- Implement SAML for enhanced security while accessing resources
- Deploy ZTNA by configuring tags, servers, rules, and full-mode ZTNA policies
- Configure FortiPAM proxy rules and ZTNA
- Showcase admin access to FortiGate through FortiPAM
- Setup FortiPAM folders and secrets for IT administrators and contractors
